The Bluebird Difference
Your Trusted Partner

Prior to becoming a college admissions and career consultant, Alison McMahon spent more than two decades as an executive leader improving business performance and leading cross-functional teams across diverse areas such as strategy and operations, customer experience, analytics, marketing, and talent, in financial services and consulting.

Alison founded Bluebird to guide families through the exciting yet often overwhelming college admissions and career discovery journey. Drawing on her extensive background in client service and people leadership, she partners with you and your student to demystify the process. Her objective is to alleviate stress, empower students to explore their interests, and help them uncover what they love to do, as well as sometimes what they don't! This exploration helps to build a strong foundation of valuable experiences that will inform future decisions. As a fellow parent of a college graduate and a college student, Alison shares your goal; for your child to be happy and flourish in their chosen school or career. At Bluebird, we believe there isn't one "right" college or career path, we focus on identifying best fit options for your student and your family, and the path to get there.

During times of change, Bluebirds guide us. They help us stay hopeful and strong. Let us help you navigate your future.
